The Netherlands Alumni Association of Bangladesh (NAAB) is a non-political platform dedicated to strengthening the ties among Netherlands alumni in Bangladesh and fostering communication with Dutch knowledge institutions.
NAAB also plays a key role in promoting social and economic friendship between the Netherlands and Bangladesh. The organization works in close collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bangladesh.
Notably, the Netherlands was one of the first European countries to formally recognize Bangladesh as an independent and sovereign nation on 11 February 1972. In honor of this historic milestone, NAAB commemorates the day as Netherlands-Bangladesh Friendship Day.
